DESCRIPTION / INSTRUCTIONS

Vanilla oil is usually directed for topical applications tosoothe burns, promotehealthy skin, encourage hair growth, and as amassage oil to reduce muscle or joint pain.

Vanilla oil also has a range of positive effects when used in Aromatherapy.

Aside from being recognized as a potent mood enhancer, antioxidant, and calming agent, Vanilla oil also exhibits in vitro antifungal activity against candida albicans andcryptococcus neoformans yeast infections due to its Vanillin.

How to make home made vanilla oil extract:

Vanilla beans don’t have to be high quality or expensive.

Took four Vanilla beans, cut through one layer of the bean, scraped out the seeds, chopped up the beans, and then put the seeds and beans in jar.

We must filled the jar up with the last of Jojoba oil (we can use Sweet Almond oil, Sunflower oil, Marula oil, Sesame oil). Jojoba oil has long shelf life.

Shake the jar and take it in a cool place in two months (if you want let it sit longer it will make your Vanilla oil infusion stronger and more effective). Do not forget to give it a shake every once in awhile.

If you’d like a more concentrated version of this oil to use as a natural perfume, cut up two more organic Vanilla beans and add them to the strained oil to infuse again. Double infused oils are exquisitely potent, and although they take a lot of time to create, it is well worth it.

After two months we must to drain oil. It is best to use a few layers of cheesecloth or a coffee filter. You may need to do this a few times to remove all seeds.

After all procedure take oil into a dark glass bottle and store in a cool place.

Using Jojoba oil in this extract gives a shelf life of 2 years ( for the Sweet Almond oil -  6 months to a year).
