DESCRIPTION / INSTRUCTIONS

Sahasrāra or Crown Chakra isthe seventh primary Chakra, according to Hindu tradition. The Sahasrara, or White Lotus, is located either at or slightly above the top of the head. The Sahasrara Chakra is outside the physical body above the top of the head.

The Sahasrara is described as having 1,000 multi-colored petals, which are arranged in 20 layers, each layer with approximately 50 petals. The pericarp is golden and within it a circular moon region is inscribed with a luminous triangle, which can be either upward- or downward-pointing.

The Sahasrara Chakra symbolises detachment from illusion. An essential element in obtaining higher consciousness of the truth that one is all and all is one. The Crown Chakra is associated with out of bodyphenomenaand mystical experiences.

Often referred to as a thousand-petaled lotus, it is said to be the most subtle Chakra in the system, relating to pure consciousness, and it is from this Chakra that all the other Chakras emanate. This stage is said to bring about rebirth or the Siddhis - occult powers of transforming into the divine, and being able to do whatever one wishes.

Sahasrara is related to the Crown of the head. It is sometimes related to the Pineal gland and also to the Pituitary gland.

The relationship of the Pineal Gland to the Crown Chakra is particularly interesting and critical to the Chakras function.

The Pineal gland is the link between the physical and spiritual, and the source of a person’s accessible etheric energies. This is central to the spiritual aspect ofthe Crown Chakra and the spirituality of humans.

Some physical manifestation of Seventh Chakra dysfunction include Pineal gland issues, nervous system problems, mental disorders and depression.

People with an imbalanced or dysfunctional Crown Chakra may feel that their life is without meaning or sense of purpose, they may feel alone or incomplete and possess an intense fear of death. They may lack spirituality or be spiritually confused or indecisive. People with imbalanced Crown Chakras often have energetic imbalances. They may feel disassociated from, or to some degree unattached to, their physical body.

People with a balanced or strong Crown Chakra tend to be joyful, purposeful. They tend to have a sense of higher purpose, are selfless, able to act without ego and have a connection with something greater than themselves.

Frankincense expands the Aura and helps awaken one’s spiritual or soul purpose. Frankincense also works on physical manifestations of Crown Chakra dysfunction such as anxiety, restlessness, nervous tension and stress-related condition, in general.

Nard is additional well-known Crown Chakra essential oil. Spikenard inspires spiritual commitment and devotion, assists with animal communication and allays fears of, and prepares one for, transition.

Using Myrhh after it all, is like going into a cave where the entire energy field gets gently blocked off from the surrounding energy field for a little while.

This happens because the energy field of Myrrh causes the center of our own energy fields to vibrate faster, thus drawing our awareness inward. This gives the body and mind time to balance and recuperate from the strong effects it experienced before before it continues its normal activities merging in with and reacting with the surrounding environment. For a healer or anyone who has to meet widely variant energies on a regular basis (like travelers, and people living in big cities) this is invaluable rest and rejuvenation.

Myrrh is an Inverse Energy Field that focuses energy in the cells towards the boundaries and then suspends energy there. This causes the parts of the body that are in pain to get surrounded or cushioned by the energy right there, rather than asking for energy from other parts of the body.

Specific essential oil isn't always good for a particular Chakra. It depends on the manifestation of the imbalance and the specific intentions. Some of the more common essential oils include:

Classic The Seventh Chakra essential oils:

Anise Seed (Pimpinella anisum)
Basil (Ocimum basilicum)
Benzoin (Styrax benzoin)
Elemi (Canarium luzonicum)
Frankincense (Boswellia caterii)
Galbanum (Ferula galbaniflua)
Myrtle (Myrtus communis)
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens)
Sandalwood (Santalum album)
Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi)

Put these mix oils (about 4 drops) in an amber or cobalt blue 10ml glass bottle and fill the the remainder of the bottle with a carrier oil (Jojoba, Almond, Marula). Cover and shake gently to integrate the oils. Use for inhalation. Or anoint yourself or rub into the head, The top of the head, face.

After 6 month this mixture can smell better than first day, it depends how long we take a time to mix all ingredients together.  Essential oils needs a time, and they will show us those real qualities.
