DESCRIPTION / INSTRUCTIONS

Svadhisthana, the Second Chakra, is situated in the genital region, it has six vermillion lotus petals.

The moon-shaped crescent is the yantra of this Chakra. The Chakra governs the principle of taste, Its element is water. The vital relationship between water and the moon is shown by the crescent Yantra within the white circle of the Water Chakra.

The Chakra is associated animal is the light grey or green makara (crocodile), an emblem of the waters and the vehicle of the god Varuna, lord of the sea.

The Sacral Chakra is also known as Svādhişţhāna Chakra in Sanskrit. The Svadisthana Chakra is located above the groin, below the belly button and in the center of the body. The location is noted on the above diagram - the glowing orange light just above the Red Root Chakra.

Svadhishthana is located near the coccyx (tailbone), two finger-widths above the Muladhara Chakra. Its corresponding point in the front of the body is the pubic bone. It is often associated with the testes and ovaries. These produce the hormones testosterone or estrogen, which influence sexual behaviour, and are stores in which genetic information lies dormant, in the same way that Samskaras lie dormant within Svadhishthana.

The Svadisthana or Sacral Chakra is associated with family, sexuality, passion and creativity. Our desires, passions and imagination are expressed through this Chakra.

Imbalances in the Sacral Chakra tend to manifest in the physical body as eating disorders, menstrual disorders, issues affecting the sex organs of either sex and kidney problems.

The signs and symptoms of the Sacral Chakra imbalance are varied. sexual, relationship or interpersonal limitations and issues are typically related to the Sacral Chakra as are feelings of inadequacy and lack of self worth, self criticism, victimization, loneliness and dissociation or obsession with the physical body (frigidity, compulsive eating disorders and anorexia).

Essential oils have amazing subtle (energetic or vibrational) qualities. The use of essential oils for energetic purposes is called subtle Aromatherapy.

Essential oils are also relevant to energy work because energetic imbalances tend to eventfully manifest in the physical body. Of course, energetic imbalances and other health issues are complex. Typically when one Chakra goes out of balance, others do too. And, chakras tend to be just one part of the energy and holistic puzzle.

Essential oils for the Sacral Chakra tend to have a stimulating scent and have the effect of loosening one up - emotionally, mentally, sexually or energetically. They tend to encourage genuine personal expression either through creativity, industry or formation of bonds and friendship.

Patchouli offers emotional support as well as arouses sexuality and sensuality, allowing for a greater sense of security in relationships.

Jasmine makes the process of opening up joyful rather than fearful. It promotes love, sensuality and sexuality, creativity, and living in the moment. Jasmine harmonizes and promotes wholeness.

Neroli could be included in a blend for someone who has experienced physical or sexual abuse as a child. These are all deeper supportive scents. Neroli offers a profound sense of ease. It helps one breath deeply, fill with peace and calm and feel whole. It is such a unique and beautiful note.

Specific essential oil isn't always good for a particular Chakra. It depends on the manifestation of the imbalance and the specific intentions.

Some of the more common essential oils include:

Put these mix oils (about 4 drops) in an amber or cobalt blue 10ml glass bottle and fill the the remainder of the bottle with a carrier oil (Jojoba, Almond, Marula). Cover and shake gently to integrate the oils.

Use for inhalation. Or anoint yourself or rub into a bottom of the belly (protect own genitals from essential oil).

After 6 month this mixture can smell better than first day, it depends how long we take a time to mix all ingredients together. Essential oil needs a time, and they will show us those real qualities.
